Hi folks!
With the recent launch of Vista, am just curious if anyone has rushed out to grab a copy?
I myself will hold off till the first service pack.
Although after reading ALOT of reviews , I may even decide to steer away from Windows and call upon the little penguin
I hear Suse 10.2 is Fantastic. |

Don't see the point, most of vista is just froth and hardly any different to XP for my needs.
I'd only get it to try out the built-in media center..
Mate of mine has been running vista (rc1) on home computer and work for like months same with office 2007 pretty cool, way better than xp (provided you have a bucket loads of ram) _________________ PotterIT - Domain Names, Web Hosting Solutions

| Hi, I'm the one unlucky person who brought the copy to upgrade my xp to vista and failed after several tries, I stop in the first step when it checks the older version compatibility. So my advise is to keep your self away from vista untill it fixed it up |

in my opinion, since vista just recently out, it will many bugs and errors maybe...
so might as well wait for the SP to be release... _________________ htblue.com.au |

I was in the beta testing team for Windows Vista and I can't say I'm satisfied with it at well. Well mainly if you;re using Wireless internet and a not so highend PC.
Otherwise I'd say wait for the first pack and then go for it!*sees a bunch of you guys running to the store* |

| I'm going to wait for Vista service pack 2 before purchasing a copy. However, i heard Microsoft intend to launch a new version in 2 years (maybe 4 after all the testing) |

Its actually quite good,
Only Gripe i have though is the new lappy has a amd turion (dual core 2.0) 64 bit processor, Yet the home premium is a 32 bit OS.
Other then that the eye candy is pretty cool _________________ Own a Business? Thinking of starting one? >
