I try to use CSS whenever possible.

Well, as far as possible, I use tables. For me it just seems easier. It does depend on the type of page you want to build though. For manually edited sites such as those coded in pure HTML, I prefer tables but for those bundled together with PHP, I prefer CSS.

I am using the sitepoint tutorial to learn CSS, I am very happy with it.

I know very little about designing. So I only can do simple things like text or font stuffs on css. Otherwise I use tables rather than css.

See my above post about the css tutorial. As much as I hate to admit it tables are fading away.

Both. CSS is wiping tables out. I am one of the few dinosaurs who was doing it all with table. On the flipside the new IE7 is not up to all the standards on CSS.

I think CSS ie more better for me. I learn CSS most of from sitpoint and w3schools.com. CSS is the more elegant approach, promotes faster page loading, easier maintenance.

I like the sitepoint videos but they stop short before positiioning.

CSS imo! they are better, although sometimes tables are better, but CSS is better most of the time!

My newest site is css and flash. I used one table for the header. A first for me.
