OMG!!!!
Google has just been through webmastersite.com.au with a page rank update, I have just lost my PR5 !!
I'm assuming some of my link partners have removed my links.
Does anyone know what else may have contributined? |

OK.. thats very strange. Google toolbar was showing a PR4 this morning, its now showing a 5 :shock: :shock:

My two site got 3 as a starting pr in this update.
I also have same problem. Google toolbar shows one and other pr finder shows another pr. I am confused which to trust? |

Do not pay attention to PR as much, it lost its meaning a long time ago, as long as you dont have any penalties and believe me, you don't, if your site ranks NO 1 or 2 for phrase 'Australia webmaster forum'
The drop has been observed around few major players, such as PayPal, Aviva directory and few other ones. They all had slight drop of 1, which means G has raised the importance of PR
Few of my sites have dropped too, but traffic has gone up, what does it tell you?

| Yes, PR is in fact overstated. Actual rank may or may not correlate; in fact, my own site ranks above many higher PR sites on a variety of important keywords. |
