| Google Adsense is for web publishers while Google Adwords is for advertisers. Both are ways to earn money online. I'm more familiar with Google Adsense since I run one myself. I would like to try Google Adwords. But I need tips from you on how I go about it. I want some traffic to my site. |

the cost and placement has a lot to do with the quality score and landing page score.
Gaining a high click through rate, generates a high quality score. Be sure to target relevant keywords and use attractive ad creative. Point the destination URL to the most relevant page on your site.

It depends on the keywords you're targeting as the more competitive the more its going to cost.
What would you regard as too high?
Adwords is the best performing, best bang for buck paid internet promotion that you can do. Its a known fact

| I'll say go for the smaller advertising companies on the net. They're cheaper and you can find popular sites advertising with them. They also allow you to advertise in "per day" and stuff. google doesn;t allow you to do that. So if you advertising for a day/week/mth on a site with a hight CTR, you might end up saving more money. |

Thanks Icetray for giving good tips. I agree that Google does not allowed per day advertisements. I have to use some other smaller advertising companies to save my money. |

You might want to try sites like adbrite etc. They allow per day advertising and they are rather popular nowday. You can find alot of well known popular sites using them. =) |

Google adwords too offer per day budget. and with the effect from today google adwords shows quality score in the dashboard.
