I've noticed lately that Wikipedia pages that don't even have any content are ranking high on Google. Take for example a search for [URL="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=GGLG%2CGGLG%3A2005-50%2CGGLG%3Aen&q=french+painters&btnG=Search"]French Painters[/URL]. At the time of this posting, Wikipedia has the top 2 spots, and both listings have no content. What's up with that?

As wikipedia has become a trusted domain, it has started ranking in SERPs even without content as you have mentioned.
